Our Design Schemes are created with the full understanding that clients will purchase via Canonbury Interiors at suggested retail prices. This includes items such as paint, wallpaper, upholstery fabrics, lights, rugs and furniture.

Whether you have a traditional property or contemporary new-build, we can tailor our furnishing service to create an environment that perfectly fits your lifestyle. Since opening our doors in 2012, we have built a trusted and dependable network of handpicked suppliers and furniture manufacturers.

We can work with you in a number of ways - from your architects drawings, photographs, property brochure and/or visit you on site.

Together with our talented seamstresses and using our extensive collection of fabrics, we create stunning made-to-measure curtains, blinds, cushions, bed valances and throws. Hand-sewn for the most intricate designs, or machine sewn for tighter budgets – we have you covered.


We are well connected and experienced in sourcing for interiors using our library of wonderful fabrics, wall coverings, furniture and accessories.

Sourcing all through Canonbury Interiors, we will handle the ordering, co-ordinate the delivery, and recommend the ideal position for them if necessary.

To achieve the ‘right style' for you, we will design to make a room or house deliver all you require as well as make it feel homely and somewhere to be proud of.

This applies equally to second homes or holiday rental properties.

Our finishing touches have a lot of thought behind them.

Delivery of items

For furniture, we recommend 'White Glove Delivery Service' where possible for a value-added, hassle-free experience.

For paint, wallpapers, fabrics, lights and rugs, we can have these delivered to your home address or that of your upholsterer, decorator or chosen seamstress.

Installation of Soft Furnishings

Our fitter offers our standard installation service; fitting of curtains and blinds, including tracks and poles. Should you require us to dress your soft furnishings, this is available at a pre-agreed rate and includes dressing of curtains, placing of cushions, rugs, lighting, furniture layout – whatever the project requires.

Alternatively, items can be collected from our Studio.



Rugs, lights and wall coverings have an important part to play – to create the desired look and feel of each room, guaranteeing you the highest quality finish. From really getting to know you and gaining an appreciation of your taste, we can select pieces that reflect who you are – fitting in seamlessly with the surroundings for a harmonious balance.

Skilled craftspeople can be found at the heart of Canonbury Interiors – it’s what makes our end product feel and look so special. Our collection of upholstered furniture is a prime example of this: traditional techniques used to great effect using a broad spectrum of designer fabrics. We work with a number of upholstered furniture suppliers including: Charlotte James, Kingcome, Designers Guild, BoConcept,, George Smith, and Julian Chichester to name a few.

Three steps we follow with every project to ensure the most imaginative designs are created with the smoothest of deliveries.


We’ll review your architectural drawings or arrange a visit to gain a feel for the property.  As well as building up a clear picture of your aspirations, we’ll add to your inspiration with some observations and recommendations, answer any questions you have, and guide you through the rest of the process.


With a brief now firmly established, we will share our initial ideas in person or via the internet. Samples of fabrics, wallpapers and furniture finishings combined with images of lighting and accessories will be shared in order to firm up the details. Mood boards, room plans, drawings and colour schemes are chargable extras if required.


Once the estimated costs have been agreed, we’ll order everything. We’ll liaise with all suppliers and will always keep you informed of progress. Depending on the level of service you require, we can put everything in position ready for you to enter into your new, transformed space.

Do you create a particular type of style?
No. All of our work develops organically in communication with the client. We’ll interpret your vision and create your own unique style.

Do I need to provide you with a detailed design brief?
An informal chat is all we need to develop an understanding of what you’re looking for, and the amount of detail you give us is entirely up to you. If you have a very clear idea of what you want – great. But it’s no problem if you don’t. We will provide you with plenty of ideas, suggestions and guidance along the way.

Do you work on commercial properties?
We specialise in residential homes, holiday homes and private guest houses, rather than commercial properties.

Can you provide your interior design service to me remotely?
Yes, we have a well established system which we’ve used for years, which works well for those living further afield, or are too busy to visit our Studio.

What will be shared for me to appreciate how the final design will look?
During the concept stage, we can share samples of fabrics, wallpaper, paint colours as well as furniture finishings for your project. Images of each item are also helpful to clients.
